The ups and the downs.
It has been a busy few weeks since my last post. The children have struggled to get to grips with the work we are doing. But we are finally making progress. Slowly we are getting into a rhythm. But the rhythm is easily disrupted, just one worksheet not liked means that we have a terrible day. I am having to get Miss A to go back to basics on maths as she is struggling with work she learnt last year. She is a superstar at English so finds that good fun, and we had a fantastic lesson about English Grammar. But we are back on Maths this afternoon and it is hard work for her. Miss E is accepting her work and is enjoying most of her work. However, I am struggling to know how much she should be able to actually write herself. Some days are amazing and others are hard, or we go from amazing to hard in 5 minutes! We have made a decision to buy a house sooner rather than later, the children are needing some stability in their lives. We also feel that Miss E would probably not remem...
