Back to school but not as we know it.

So it is back to school tomorrow.

Mama's school!

So we have no new shoes, no new school bags, no packed lunches, no homework to look forward to.

We have decided to start on the bank holiday Monday as we have no plans so it is a good day as any.

I have made my plan! But I wonder how Miss E aged 5 will deal with it, maybe the same way she dealt with being shuffled upstairs to bed at 7.30pm. With utter contempt and anger.

I reminded her that we were going to Mama's school tomorrow so we had to be in bed at a normal time! The problem is, they have now been off school in holiday mode for 2 months, so a normal bedtime means nothing to her.

Miss A aged 7, will be an angel as she loves to do academic work and I think she will thrive at being home schooled. (But this may not happen!!)

Miss E will not like having to do Maths and English at home, I am hoping I can make it fun.

So wish me luck.

School starts around 9ish, but no later than 9.45am!

Been AWOL.

So I have been AWOL for two years, we bought the Mini I talked about in my last post and we still have said Mini. I love that car and even though she probably is too small she has done us proud. 9 day camping trip to France. Various trips out. We now live in Scotland so she definitely gets more use now. So my new missions are: 1. Reduce our food bill each month. 2. Get fit and lose weight. 3. Get Elena to eat another sandwich filling! 4. Spend much more quality time with the girls, I spend too much time tidying. 5. Read 2 books a month. 6. Come in on our budget for our new house. 7. Never get less than 70% in my course assignments. 8. That's it for now. But I will log in more often and talk about my life - it's pretty boring but maybe it will be nice for my girls when they are older to understand what I was thinking and doing when they were young.
